Discover Braunschweig in a special way! On this exclusive city tour with and by Peter Matuschak, BBG members experience the history of the city at six historical sites - in a relaxed, seated position.
Exciting anecdotes and stories about Brunswick are told on the tour, from well-known personalities to lesser-known but equally fascinating events. In a relaxed atmosphere, participants can discover and enjoy the city's history from a new perspective.
The city tours take place regularly several times a year and offer a unique opportunity to learn more about the history and hidden details of Braunschweig. A perfect way to get to know your home town in an entertaining and informative way.

For people in challenging times A special Christmas dinner
Every year during the festive season, three Braunschweig-based cooperatives want to create a special moment. We invite people who find themselves in challenging phases of their lives to a reflective Christmas dinner. On this special day, we want to continue a tradition that is very close to our hearts. In a cozy, Advent atmosphere, we would like to treat our guests to a festive three-course meal, accompanied by stories and music.
Every year, the three cooperatives offer this special experience in collaboration with the Braunschweig food bank. In recent years, numerous guests have gathered at festively set tables to enjoy a menu that is opened by a group of guests with a hearty starter.
The meal is served by employees of Wiederaufbau, PSD Bank and BBG. Between courses, the guests read aloud and sang together around a festively decorated Christmas tree. Musicians ensure that many guests sing along to popular Christmas carols and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
As a small gesture of appreciation, guests receive a gift at the end of the day: hats and scarves knitted by the group "Die Wohlwollenen". This private group has been supporting the Christmas table for many years now and meets regularly at Café Flora.
Help beyond the Christmas dinner
PSD Bank and the Tafel have set up a donation account so that the Braunschweiger Tafel can continue to provide support beyond the Christmas dinner. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps to give the volunteers at the Tafel the opportunity to continue their valuable work.
