Apartments are allocated in accordance with the allocation principles of Braunschweiger Baugenossenschaft eG based on the membership number you receive when you join the cooperative. You can also apply for an apartment without being a member. However, all interested members have priority in the allocation process.

Two shares are required to rent an apartment from the cooperative. These must be subscribed by the time the contract is concluded at the latest. It is therefore also possible to subscribe to one share first and the second share must follow by the time the contract is signed at the latest. An additional deposit is not required.
It is not possible to rent an apartment for a relative without membership. The person looking for an apartment and the future contractual partner must also be a member of the cooperative.
