Get active together! Our BBG neighborhood meeting place at Bürgerstraße 9 makes it possible

We invite you to a place of encounter according to the motto: "from neighbors for neighbors".
The BBG neighbourhood meeting point in the Sackringviertel has versatile rooms where you can cook together, meet with hobby and leisure groups, play a game together, be creative or exercise regularly.

Everyone can volunteer here and offer something that ensures diversity and community. Quartier manager Pavel Simchanka is happy to help with the organization.

Our neighborhood manager for the Sackringviertel Pavel Simchanka

Pavel Simchanka has been part of the BBG team since 2023 and already has four years of experience as a neighborhood manager in Goslar. His extensive further training as a "qualified neighborhood developer in the housing industry" (Hamburg, 2024) and as a "volunteer coordinator" (Berlin, 2025) underline his expertise and passion for neighborhood work.

In March 2024, the BBG neighborhood meeting place in the Sackringviertel opened its doors, and Pavel Simchanka has been on site regularly ever since. He is the contact person for all topics relating to volunteering in the district and for using the neighborhood meeting point. There is already a lot going on in the meeting rooms - a lively place for exchange and encounters.

"The meeting point is a contact point for everyone who wants to get active together in the neighborhood, has questions or is looking for support. We want to strengthen the quality of life here in the neighborhood with our offers. Numerous small projects ensure that cooperation grows and a good neighborhood develops. Many great groups have already been formed, and all the activities are free of charge and always open to new participants," explains Pavel Simchanka.

"We are always happy to welcome new volunteers who want to enrich our offerings with their own ideas or support existing projects. Our motto is:
'From neighbors for neighbors'"

Living, laughing, sharing - in the neighborhood meeting place

More than living Experience the neighborhood

The Nachbarschaftstreff is a meeting place with the aim of promoting exchange and encounters in the neighborhood. We therefore host activities that offer added value for the neighborhood and in which people from the district can participate.
