Why it's worth it Representative at the BBG

The application deadline for the 2026 representative election ended on 27.02.2026.

As a representative, you are the elected voice of the members. You help decide what moves the BBG - transparently, responsibly and collectively.

What you can expect

  • They vote on important issues, e.g. annual financial statements and amendments to the articles of association.

  • They elect and monitor the Supervisory Board.

  • They can submit motions, ask questions and provide input.

  • They take part in the annual representatives' meeting and are invited to additional information events.

How it works The candidacy

Who can stand as a candidate?
All BBG members of legal age and legal capacity can stand for election. The only requirement is membership of the cooperative. Only persons who are already members of the Executive Board or the Supervisory Board are excluded. No special prior knowledge is required - what is important is interest and a willingness to get involved.

How do I apply?
You can stand as a candidate yourself or nominate another person.

A written proposal with the name and email address of the proposed person is sufficient for a nomination.
Use our online form or the form in the election documents.

Time required

The large representatives' meeting takes place once a year. There are also optional meetings and information events if there is interest. The commitment is voluntary and can be easily reconciled with work, studies, family and everyday life.
